On march 28th. we were officially released from our mission but we will forever be Philippines Cebu missionaries. There is a bond between those that serve and those you serve in the Cebu mission that will never end.
So a final blog with pictures of some of those we served and served with. There are so many memories and moments that were not captured on camera but captured in the heart. Miracles experienced, witnessed and then those you just heard about. It was a mission of miracles, lives changed, lives saved, minds changed, physical and spiritual healing.

How we've grown to love President and sister McCurdy. They met us at the airport when we arrived on Cebu and brought us to the airport to bid us farewell. They were always there for us and for each of their missionaries.
Evening of the Nelsons farewell
We were always excited to see those that we had worked with on Negros when we visited the mission office in Cebu and of course meet up with the other seniors.
Random pictures, work and play and below our last San Carlos/Escalante Zone conference(Pres. McCurdy missed the photo shoot thus the empty chair.) also some Departing missionaries on their last evening at the mission home
Sometimes it got a little crowded and a little crazy at our little apartment.
The ferry from Toledo to San Carlos was often a difficulty, either not sailing or no room for trucks but this didn't stop President and sister McCurdy pictured below arriving windswept having endured the journey as foot passengers (the assistants followed with the mission van on a later sailing)The second picture is elder Gray teaching a family the young elders had brought to the Family History Center. The other pictures are just to show it was not all work and no play.
Below just some of our medical emergencies !
There are many more pictures we could share but in the words of my uncle Frank "let's leave it at that"
Thank you for taken the time to share in our journey. We hope you caught a glimpse of how this mission impacted on our lives. How we have come to better understand the statement "And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God." (Mosiah 2:17)
'Ni neart go cur le cheile' Therefore What ?
