I know we seldom get snow at Christmas in Ireland but it still always felt like Christmas. Not quite that feeling here even if it is a little cooler 25 Celsius and a nice breeze which is usually followed by rain. Anyway here are photos we took of some of the local Christmas lights.
The nativity and surrounding displays are all made from recycled items and it took about three months to assemble and erect. Christmas starts here in September. The stores close on Christmas day and new years day.
Christmas morning we will be having the young missionaries over for breakfast and later that day more of them over for dinner. Some of them will come to us to Skype home over the Christmas period.
A sister was telling Theresa how her husband had been complaining about how hard things were and how poor they were.
